About me

Welcome to Zest Soul. I, a South Asian female in her 30s, created this blog as a personal archive to share the strategies, tools, and resources that have helped me thrive with ADHD.

After finally understanding myself better post-diagnosis, I understand firsthand the unique challenges that come with ADHD, but I also believe in its strengths. Living with ADHD often means navigating a whirlwind of energy, creativity, and occasional chaos. Through this blog, I aim to share what has worked for me, hoping it may spark inspiration or help you.

Why Zest Soul?

The name Zest Soul comes from my personal journey. “Zest” reflects the vibrant energy and enthusiasm ADHD often brings, while “Soul” represents the deeper journey of self-awareness, mental health, and understanding. Initially, this blog was a personal archive of song meaning analysis, a way I deeply connected with music. But as I slowly embrace my own ADHD journey, I felt the need to evolve it into a space where I can record and archive my experiences and the resources that I find helpful while sharing it online for anyone who sees it useful, specifically for those like me, living with ADHD.

Why I’m Sharing

I’ve spent years trying different approaches to manage my ADHD, many years before that, without even knowing why I felt so different, and I want to share what I’ve learned. ADHD is often misunderstood, and navigating it can feel isolating. By sharing my journey, I hope to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered to embrace your ADHD with zest and soul.

Zest Soul is not just about managing ADHD—it’s about celebrating the energy, creativity, and strength that come with it. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, have lived with ADHD for years, or are simply curious, I hope you’ll find something helpful here.

Thanks!

Sincerely,

Zest Soul Admin
